Evidence-Based Ayurveda

Research & Pulse Reports

5,000 years of pulse diagnosis, tested the way modern medicine expects evidence to be tested.

Clinical Validation

Research Insights

Every claim behind Nadi Tarangini is grounded in rigorous clinical research, run across thousands of patients and dozens of institutional partners.

Decoding Diabetes: Dosha-linked diabetic signatures identified through pulse-derived features.
Yoga as Medicine: Measuring the efficacy of integrated yoga therapy.
Lunar Metabolism: How Agni intensity shifts with lunar cycles.
Non-Invasive Diabetes Monitoring: Ongoing research into detecting diabetic markers from pulse alone, without a blood draw.

Food as Medicine

Correlating dietary patterns with measurable shifts in pulse-derived health parameters.

Nadi Gunas During Virechana

Tracking changes in pulse qualities (Gunas) through a classical Panchakarma therapy.

Agni: Month-wise Distribution

Seasonal variation in digestive fire (Vikruti) across the year.

Agni: Prahar-wise Distribution

How digestive strength shifts across the time-of-day periods (Prahars).

Agni: Lunar Cycle Distribution

Agni patterns mapped against the lunar cycle.

Guna: Month-wise Distribution

Monthly trends in pulse quality across the patient population.

How We Validate

Accuracy Alone Isn't Enough

A model that labels every patient "healthy" can still score high on accuracy while missing every diseased case. That's why every Nadi Tarangini classifier is evaluated on precision and recall together, not accuracy alone.

Accuracy

The percentage of total predictions that are correct: simple, but not always sufficient for medical use.

Recall (Sensitivity)

Of patients who actually have a condition, how many did the model catch? High recall means fewer missed cases.

Precision

Of patients predicted positive, how many actually are? High precision means fewer false alarms.

False negatives can be life-threatening: a missed diagnosis delays treatment. False positives cause unnecessary stress and cost. Our models are tuned to balance both, not just chase a headline accuracy number.
